Welcome to AirportWiFi.com
In 2004, Advanced Wireless Group (AWG), was formed to develop and market the new WiFi system at Boston's Logan International Airport. This state-of-the-art system -- called Logan WiFi -- is now fully operational and available to all of the roughly 26 million passengers who travel through Logan Airport each year. Logan WiFi provides high-speed wireless Internet access to tens of thousands of travelers each month.
In 2005, AWG also began providing public Internet access at Miami International Airport, initially in Miami International Airport Hotel, then expanding to full airport access.
In 2008, AWG was selected to provide free Internet access for the new Indianapolis International Airport. In 2009 Eppley Airfield in Omaha and Bob Hope Airport in Burbank were added. Now in 2010, Sacramento County airport is being added. In our free and sponsored access airports, the cost of providing free high-speed access is subsidized by Sponsors and Advertisers.
The AWG Portal at www.airportwifi.com enables WiFi users to enjoy a range of valuable and entertaining content offerings without having to purchase access. Visitors to the portal can check flight times, read the latest news and sports headlines, find airport eateries, play video games, and much more.
AWG is continually striving to improve the service and content offering and welcomes your input on how best to accomplish this. For more information about AWG, please visit our website at www.awgwifi.com.
